July Has Been Scorchio!

Posted by admin on 31 July, 2018

We have to start off our news update with a comment on the weather!
Lovely for sitting on the beach sipping cocktails but for everyone who
owns, works or rides horses, its been hard work! We've done our best to
change your saddle checks and fitting times to earlier or later in the
day, so you and your horses are slightly more comfortable in these hot
temperatures.

Team Childéric have been 'hot to trot' and it's not just the weather we
are commenting on! Our own team have been doing brilliantly with their
own horses: Helen has qualified at the Regionals for the Lemieux
National Dressage Championships at Medium Silver and Michelle is out
shortly contesting a place too - fingers crossed we can make it a
double! Even more fun at the Nationals and a great excuse for
everyone to pop the champagne!

We embrace four new Brand Champions onboard this month: Antiona Brown,
Katie Pytches, Clare Valender and Penny Brooks - welcome to the
Childéric family!

Our Payment Plan option has been really well received, and we are
delighted to be able to introduce even more riders to our bespoke
saddles with this affordable option. For more information, please click

Keep an eye out for our Orange pop-up trade stand at various events
coming soon! This cute pop-up boutique has enabled us to go to even more
events this summer and be part of some significant events including
Bicton in Devon and Camphire in Ireland. The future is indeed bright!

Our Childéric Ambassadors have been doing us proud on the international
circuit with Olympic Eventer Gemma Tattersall getting placed 4th at
Aston Le Walls in the Advanced. International Show Jumper Anthony Condon
also won the 2* Grand Prix at Chantilly with his talented ride, SFS
Aristo. Well done to both Gemma and Anthony! Dressage riders Becky Moody
and Anders Dahls have had a brilliant month with Becky qualifying seven
horses for the National Dressage Champs and Anders announcing that he
has been selected for WEG to ride for the Danish team - well done both!

Our sponsorship support for British events continues with Little Downham
proving a great success and well done to the organisers for all their
efforts in making the ground so rideable!  We are also looking forward
to the Nationals of course and hope to see some of you there as visitors
and also as riders! Good luck!

As we go to press, we send congratulations to all our fabulous
associated riders who had a successful weekend and special mentions go
out to Olivia Whitelaw who won her 1st international at Hickstead and
Anthony Condon who was part of the winning Nations Cup Team at Hickstead
this weekend.

-And on a final glorious note, there is good news for Jonty Evans as
he regains consciousness. We're all thinking of you Jonty!
