A Month Filled With Great Horse Power!

If the cross-country phase of the Landrover Burghley Horse Trials had you on the edge of your seat, then imagine what it felt like to ride around it!

Praise to our fabulous riders, Caroline Powell and Gemma Tattersall for completing the course. Despite the mishap with Spike, Gemma rode Santiago Bay confidently into 7th place and Caroline with On The Brash into the top 20. Fantastic horsemanship demonstrated by both. Congratulations to our superwomen and also Pippa; Girl Power at it's very best!
Congratulations to our incredible Para-dressage rider Rosemary Gaffney who competed in the Para Europeans. Partnered with her beautiful 10-year-old 17hh mare by Painted Black, Rosemary just missed out on the final placings, but as this only their 3rd International competition, there's undoubtedly a very exciting future ahead for the pair!
We had a wonderful tour of the Regionals and not only was it great to see so many of you at these but also to meet new riders. This year was our best, with around 27 customers qualifying for the Nationals.
The British Dressage National Championships is always a highlight in the event calendar for the Team and this year was no different. It was wonderful to see so many of you at the show, both competition and as visitors.
Congratulations to all our riders who not only got to compete at the Nationals but also to those who took home a rosette!
Katie Baggot on Zomaar who came 2nd the Childéric Elementary Silver Championships.

Becky Moody who took 1st and 2nd place in the Childéric Saddles Elementary Gold Championship on James Bond II and Jagerbomb respectively.

Aimee Gascoigne took the title in the Elementary Silver Champs  - well done to everyone in the class - an exciting class to watch and sponsor!

Charlotte Leutener was placed 6th on Bertie (AB Barroco) in the Topspec Medium Silver Championship Class, well done to Charlotte, Bertie and the Team!

Henry Boswell placed 9th in the Childéric Saddles Elementary Gold Championship on the charismatic Woodcroft Fireball.
Abigail Gray on her adorable pony , Glyncoch Red Rascal, a client of Hannah Moody based in Aberdeen, took third place in the BackInAction Preliminary Silver Champs.

Dan Greenwood rode Sara Lucas' stunning SJL Baks Zacco into fourth place in the Shearwater Young Horse 5yr Old Championships and then took 3rd place in the finals on Sunday - an exciting future ahead for this partnership.
Sara-Jane Lanning rode Mi Amigo beautifully into the top 10 in the Saracen Horse Feeds Freestyle Gold Championships.
As some of you may have seen from our Facebook posts - we were more than a little excited for our riders!!

Moving forward, though, we were delighted to meet so many new faces and both our new and Pre-Loved Saddles were the talking point throughout the event with lots of demo appointments in the diary!
Facebook gave us a trip down memory lane by serving up a post from six years ago - our first saddle delivery for the dressage rider, Becky Moody. Working with riders in the long term is our passion, and we love to be part of your journey.

Some dates for your diary beyond the Nationals...
The Team and our trade stand will be at Little Downham between October 5th - 7th -  proud title sponsors of this event, it's a super day out, for everyone - riders and spectators.
Tricia will be heading back out to Ireland from: 10 -12th October.
If anyone would like to book in a saddle check (only £80) or is keen to have a no-obligation demo (no charge) in one of our saddles, please do get in touch HERE.
